EMT’s may take you to the nearest facility depending on your condition even if you’d prefer somewhere else.
  2. Keeping a positive attitude – Last, are you one who tends to exhibit a positive attitude? If so, you stand less of a chance of dealing with a major medical emergency. Now, medical emergencies can strike even the most positive people in the best of health. That said staying upbeat about life does have its benefits. Do your best to look on the bright side of things. If you let stress get to you, it can weaken your immune system. If this occurs, you are more susceptible to medical problems.
